House

is an urban dance style that amalgomates all the different dance styles. Think of it this way… take poppin, hip hop, locking, bboying, disco, and many others. Bring everyone together under one roof, one “house”, dancing to a new music that works a little bit for everyone, and House dancing is born!

This came about in the late 1980s and 1990s, largely in the United States, popularized in African American communities. House music was born out of this amalgomation. It’s a “street dance” in the sense that it’s not institutionalized like ballet or formal ballroom dancing, even though it formed in the nightclubs.

We are all here to have fun, and you’ll definitely learn how to party like no other!

Hip Hop

Hip Hop has fast become arguably the most popular style of dance of today. As an urban street dance, it includes a wide range of dance styles including breaking, and has origins dating to the 1970s with the evolution of Hip Hop music.
