This is an open-level class, ie, Intermediate to advanced and multi-leveled; and involves the following: - concept based; a higher focus on self-expression, creativity, musicality, as well as core technique and foundations - a mix of instructor-directed and collaborative learning. Collaborative learning involves working with your partner and other dancers, in rotation and in small-group settings with the instructors facilitiating & guiding the learning - differs from Swing 2/3/Kittens as there will be a smaller focus on moves, sequences, prescribed variations, or performing - rotating required Recommended for: - regular dancers looking for something new & different (eg, done swing 3 a few times, kittens) - or dancers who cannot take swing 2 or swing 3 on the scheduled days - or keen students coming out of swing 1 or 2 - or anyone looking to supplement their learning in swing 2, 3, or Kittens - Not recommended for beginners Note: - considered supplemental to Swing 2 and Swing 3 (these are strongly recommended and still required for levelling up!) |

Cancellation Policy: Please review the link above to be properly informed of our cancellation policy regarding our services, including missed classes, injury, etc.
- No refunds beyond 3 days from purchase
- Inform us as soon as possible if unable to attend future lessons and needing to cancel. Credit may be provided; we base our calculations on the # of lessons that have already occurred from the date this is communicated to us

Account creation: We require contact info, such as your email and phone number, for billing and to handle issues such as cancelled lessons due to weather, etc. You may register a companion under your account during the registration process.

Missed Classes: Enrollment reserves your placement in class; consequently, we cannot provide credit or refund for absences.
Notes
Membership: Is not required. If you got your membership in-person and you’re now creating an online account, your membership status SHOULD be recognized. However, if you know your membership is not expired and the system says you’re not a member, please email dance@sugarswing.com so that we can link your membership!
