Covid-19 Participant Safety

In-person classes will be proceeding with new protocols and regulations put into place to ensure the health and safety of all of our staff and clients. We are very excited to have people back in our space, but we depend on everyone to adhere to our health protocols so we may maintain a low-risk environment. We plan for our upcoming classes to be dual platform; in-person and online.

When not to come

If you are feeling ill; showing any cold, flu, or Covid-19 like symptoms; have come into contact with someone who has tested positive for Covid-19; or have recently returned from travel outside of Canada please do not attend our in-person classes. If you arrive at class and are symptomatic, you will need to leave. Please self-assess using this checklist. Please consider attending online that day instead.

If you are feeling uncomfortable with attending in-person classes, are at high risk (ie seniors, immunocompromised, etc.), or live with/are part of a cohort with someone from the vulnerable population, we recommend attending online instead.

Payment & Attendance

Contactless payment should be utilized as much as possible. We offer registration and payment online; we may also accommodate e-transfers and credit sales over the phone. Credit/Debit payment will be accepted in person where contactless payment isn’t possible. Cash payment is highly discouraged and may not always be accepted. As now instructors are taking attendance, no need to check in at the registration desk unless you need to complete payment.

Demarked Squares

Designated squares will be taped out onto the floors to keep all participants including instructors 2-3 meters apart at all times. Participants are to keep within the bounds of their dance squares while in session. No switching squares unless sanitized first. Keep belongings and change shoes near your dance square in order to reduce traffic

Physical Distancing

Please be spacially aware of others when entering the space. Be patient with each other and allow time and space for others to become situated in order to reduce crowding and bottlenecking in common areas. Adhere to physical distancing markers on the floor. Keep 2m distant from others or wait until the pathways are clear while ascending/descending stairs, waiting in line, crossing hallways, etc.
