Jazz is beautiful. It is the rhythm of joy…and it gave us a dance that sets us free. That’s why Sugar Swing Dance Club is building a home for jazz dance and music in Edmonton. It will be Edmonton’s only dedicated space for social swing dancing, and a hoppin’ venue for plenty of live jazz to keep us moving. How Can I Help?
There are a number of ways you can get involved! These are our top four:
- Buy our perks on Indiegogo. Here’s our page. Dance passes, artwork, rehearsal time… there are lots of options and we’ll be adding fun new stuff throughout the campaign!
- Attend Sugar Swing dances and classes. Supporting our business is a very practical way to help us through an extremely challenging transition phase!
- Volunteer your time. You can help us move, complete certain reno tasks, or get involved with the building process in a variety of ways. Email dance@sugarswing.com for information on this.
- Spread the word. If you know friends, dancers, artists, or even businesses that might want help build a vibrant dance space, tell them about us! Feel free to Tweet, Facebook, or share on whatever social media suits you.
