Here’s an inspiring clip of Balboa featuring some of the world’s foremost Balboa enthusiasts, including one particular amazing instructor, David Rehm (on the right). Julie and I took a workshop from him, and it literally transformed our Balboa overnight – an unusual incident because we’ve been dancing Bal for years! Guess what? David and Heather are coming to Edmonton July 6-8!

Sugar Swing Dance Club (Edmonton) had another hugely successful live dance night, this time with Elphida Sextet & Laura Swankey. Edmonton Lindy Hoppers also celebrated the birthday of one of our own, John Marion in a form of a birthday jam circle!! It was awesome!!
We must also say hello to Tim from Swing Dance Calgary, and goodbye to Joanna Farley, Sugar Swing Dance Club’s newsletter writer.
