Enjoy an incredible New Year's Eve party with us! Dress to impress at this gala event - it will be a night to remember. Where else can you find live music, performances, appetizers, and midnight champagne for such a low presale price? Get your tickets and come on down to an awesome party! All folks - young, old, teens, tweens are welcome to attend. Don't worry about not being able to dance: this is a party!

There will be a bar with drinks for purchase and complimentary coffee. We are literally transforming the look of Dance Alberta with decorations galore. All this requires a ton of effort, so we will be having a pre-NYE party and New Year's Day party to setup and take-down. Please contact Birkley or Krystal if you'd like to help out.

Ticket Purchase

Get your tickets now! Your admission to the event includes appetizers, performances, midnight champagne, live music, and the beginner lesson. $55 regular and $50 members.

Advance purchase of New Year's Eve tickets is now closed. Many tickets have sold, but there are still tickets left to be purchased at the door. We have debit, credit, cheque, and cash options available for payment.

The Band

Swing Manouche is an evolving band that was formed in the late 90s in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada by Michel Bettinger of France and Ben Sures of Canada. They put together this fabulous homage to Django Reindhart and Stephane Grapelli and performed for about a year.The group continues today in different cities sometimes with and without any original members, in fact they like to refer to the line up as 'current' and 'so far'. Quite appropriate considering Swing Manouche's tribute to gypsy swing!

Swing Manouche, headed by Ben Sures, has played for Sugar Swing last New Year's eve and did a stellar job. The band has great rhythm and feel, and every time we have them play, everyone dances the night away.

Performers

Mad Cat Swing is Edmonton's best crew of Lindy Hoppers. Headed up by Birkley Wisniewski and Julie Kiraly, the team of 6 also includes Krystal Moss, Gary O'Neill, Jason Kiraly, and Sierra Sullivan - all lindy addicts and instructors with Sugar Swing! Mad Cat has performed at corporate Christmas parties, Canada Day festivities, Tap Into A Cure charity event, and Fort Edmonton Park, all within the last 6 months! The group loves performing and applying the latest and greatest choreography to the very best music to simply impress the crowd. Look for them on the dance floor at New Year's!
